In 2023, over ** percent of school graduates in the population of the same age in Hamburg were qualified to apply for university. The same was true for just around ** percent in Bavaria.
Graduates are students in the reporting school year who left the respective type of school with a diploma. Graduates also include students who have passed examinations at other schools (external students).
