The impact of the crisis caused by the coronavirus pandemic is still not visible in the construction industry in Poland. Of all types of buildings, only commercial buildings, e.g., office buildings, have seen their production fall by 20 percent year-on-year. For engineering structures, the least affected were those financed from EU funds. Local government investments, such as sports and leisure facilities, achieved a significant drop in production compared to March 2018.
