The sample was composed as follows: 37.9% Europe, 19% Central and South America, 6.9% Africa, 3.4% South East Asia/Australasia (including New Zealand and Pacific Islands), 12.1% North Asia (including China, Korea, and Japan), 20.7s% North America (U.S. and Canada), 0% Middle East/Central Asia (including Arabian Gulf and Indian subcontinent).

Change in the number of container vessel calls in ports worldwide by week 2020
Between week ** and week ** of 2020, the number of container vessel calls decreased: the share of ports reporting a rather stable situation dropped from ** percent to ** percent. Additionally, ten percent of ports observed a 25-50 percent reduction in the number of container calls due to the disruptions caused by the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. As of July 15, 2020, the situation seemed to be returning to normal, with over half of the respondents reporting a rather stable situation. However, trade routes in the Far East still had numerous blank sailings in week **.
