Each of them won the prestigious Italian cycling race **** times. Moreover, Tao Geoghegan Hart (UK) won the edition of the Giro, held in 2020. That was the second Giro d'Italia won by a British rider.
The Giro d'Italia is a renowned bicycle race organized in Italy since 1909. Together with the Tour de France and the Vuelta a España, it is part of the so-called Grand Tours, ones of the most important cycling races worldwide. Originally, the race started and finished in Milan. However, for the last fifty years, the starting and finishing stages have changed annually.
