In 2020, due to the situation caused by the global coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19), most car parts distributors in Poland feel uncertain about the future, and therefore employees are considering workforce reduction. Sixteen percent of distributors are already thinking about it. The decision of some of them depends on the duration of the crisis. Nevertheless, almost one in five distributors do not plan to lay off employees, and 30 percent still do not know.
