Opinions on triaging the completion of sports events affected by COVID-19 2020
During a representative survey of the British adult population, undertaken between the 16th and 17th March 2020, respondents were asked their opinion on which events should take priority in the event that domestic sport leagues are paused as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic and the next opportunity to complete them overlaps with international sports fixtures or tournaments. 32 percent of all respondents held the opinion that the completion of domestic leagues competitions should take priority whereas 29 percent of respondents indicated that the completion of both should have equal priority.
