During an August 2025 survey conducted among adults in the United States, **percent of male respondents said they bet on sports. Meanwhile, the figure for women stood at ** percent.
Sports betting has been allowed in certain states in the U.S. since the federal ban was lifted by the Supreme Court in May 2018.
