Exports of PDO still wine (alcohol content less than **%) have varied by several thousand hectoliters since 2003. After seeing a peak in exports in the 2006/2007 campaign, exports have gradually fallen before returning to a second peak in 2012/2013. That year, French winegrowers sold more than thousand hectoliters of wine for export under the PDO (AOP) label.
