Over half of respondents working in Dutch hotels, restaurants and cafes (horeca) saw more cancellations than normal in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic. This according to a survey conducted on the effect of the COVID-19 in the industry. Furthermore, just over ** percent said to see a lower occupancy rate, whereas ** percent felt restlessness among personnel. When looking at the impact of Covid-19 on the revenue of food services, it is estimated that food services will be dealing with revenue losses of *** million euros a month in total in the Netherlands.
