The survey assessed people's opinion on the average age at which pornographic websites should be prohibited for children in France in 2019. At the time of the survey, the age to which children were exposed to adults content was **. The majority voted for ** to be the age limit. The most voted range was between the ages of ** to **, with ** percent voting for **, ** percent for ** and three percent for **. The general average opinion therefore lied at a prohibition below the age of **. The survey was issued following the International Children's day (November 20th, 2019), where Emmanuel Macron announced that he would give internet operators six months to set up parental control as a default setting: when asked if they believed it was an essential measure, a total of ** percent had agreed.
