Analyzing the frequency of visits by French people on pornographic websites can be conducted through the prism of their gender. It appears that, at the time this survey was carried out, ** percent of women reported never watching online porn, compared to ** percent on men. Of men, **** percent said that they watched sexual content quite often and *** percent on a regular basis. Most of those who said yes to watching porn (** percent) watched it sometimes. Of women, ** percent said they very rarely indulged in those activities and *** percent quite often or regularly. The same survey had assessed French people's opinion on the viewing of pornographic content on the web, where of the general population thought that accessing porn sites should not be a taboo.
