IOI's biggest income was generated from its palm oil plantations. The Malaysian company is one of the world's largest palm oil companies. Beside owning refineries in the US and the Netherlands, IOI also owns palm oil plantations in Indonesia with Bumitama Gunajaya Agro as its associate company.
