This statistic presents the perspective of British adults on the influence of the performance of ParalympicGB athletes in the 2016 Palaympic Games on the public perception of disabled people in Great Britain.
Responses have subsequently been categorized by the age of the respondent.
When presented with two opposing statements, the largest share of respondents within each age group indicated that their opinion more closely aligned with the statement that the performance of the British team at the 2016 Paralympics does influence people's perceptions of British disabled people. Within both the and *** age groups the share of respondents that indicated as such was over ** percent, whereas within the age group, only ** percent of respondents indicated as such, with the remaining ** percent indicating that their opinion more closely aligned with the statement that the performance of the British team at the Paralympics does not make a difference to people's perceptions of British disabled people.
