This statistic presents the perspective of British adults on how representative ParalympicsGB athletes are of disabled people within the general population in Great Britain. Responses have subsequently been categorized by the age of the respondent.

When presented with two opposing statements, the largest share of respondents within each age group indicated that their opinion more closely aligned with the statement that ParalympicsGB athletes have a more positive attitude and mindset than disabled British people more widely. Within the age groups the share of respondents that indicated as such was over ** percent, with the remaining ** percent indicating that their opinion more closely aligned with the statement that ParalympicsGB athletes are not generally representative of disabled British people more widely.
