Indicators of global warming as perceived in Romania 2019
This 2019 survey question shows the perceived indicators of global warming in Romania. By far the most common and clear sign of global warming was considered to be regional changes concerning temperatures, precipitation and seasons, with a response of 73 percent. The second most noticeable indicator of global warming was the phenomenon of melting glaciers, although only 18 percent of respondents agreed so. Floods, landslides and natural disasters, along with the destruction of agriculture, horticulture and the emergence of new diseases were mostly viewed in Romania as unrelated to global warming, having a share of only one to two percent of respondents.
