In this list only Asian universities are depicted, considering the quality of research output, which is based on reputation, income, and productivity.
In 2025, the Chinese University of Hong Kong was ranked the highest among the Asian universities in terms of research, scoring **** out of 100. In comparison, the Sejong University in South Korea scored **** points in terms of its research in 2025. The research reputation of a university is seen as vital, as quality research can attract more income and investments into the university, thus creating a positive impact on its academic achievements.
