Dry January is a tradition originating in the UK, where Brits either stop drinking alcohol for a month or significantly reducing their alcohol consumption. And it seems like this tradition has crossed the pond. Although a majority of Dutch is not planning to reduce alcohol consumption this month, nearly ** percent of respondents taking part in this survey said they were going to participate in Dry January this year.
