As of December 2019, nearly three quarters of respondents in Russia found the voluntary activity in the country to be increasing compared to 10 to 15 years ago. This share was significantly lower in October 2008, measuring at less than one quarter. In that month, the majority of survey participants believed that people did less voluntary activities than a decade ago.
