The estimate takes into account the value of price per ton of paper packaging and the parcel market volume.
The price per ton was generated by official CEPI data for revenue and production of the respective in-scope paper materials. The price was forecasted by using historic Eurostat data on the price development for manufacture of paper and paperboard.
The number of parcels sent are taken from pitney bowes parcel shipping index, extrapolating from data on ecommerce penetration in European countries and forecasted along the expectations for the e-commerce development.
