The most optimistic scenario for the development of the PV sector is based on the PEP 2040 project — the total capacity of the PV installation is expected to be over **** GW in 2040 (KPEiK 2030 project assumes the construction of a **** GW PV installation in 2040). According to these plans (PEP), photovoltaics will account for about ** percent of the installed capacity in 2040.
