In 2023, prostate cancer was estimated to be the most diagnosed type of cancer among males in Australia. An estimated 25,487 new cases of prostate cancer were diagnosed in 2023, followed by over 10,000 cases of melanoma of the skin, and over 8,000 cases of colorectal cancer.
