*The Travel & Tourism Development Index (TTDI) aims to measure the elements that enable the development of that sector. The analysis covers five subindexes: enabling environment, travel and tourism policy and enabling conditions, infrastructure, travel and tourism demand drivers, and travel and tourism sustainability. Each of these subindexes group three to five pillars.
Price competitiveness was the best rated pillar in the evaluation of Colombia's tourism development in 2021. In that year, that pillar obtained *** out of the possible seven index points. The pillar with the second highest score for the Latin American country was its natural resources.
