*The Travel & Tourism Development Index (TTDI) aims to measure the elements that enable the development of that sector. The analysis covers five subindexes: enabling environment, travel and tourism policy and enabling conditions, infrastructure, travel and tourism demand drivers, and travel and tourism sustainability. Each of these subindexes groups three to five pillars.
Brazil's natural resources was the main driver of tourism development in 2021, according to the Travel and Tourism Development Index (TTDI). Out of the possible seven points, this pillar obtained a score of ***. In the second place was the country's price competitiveness.
