Since 1988, Heike Drechsler holds the world's record in the women's long jump indoor with a mark of 7.37 meters. Galina Chistyakova, from the former Soviet Union, follows with a personal record of 7.3 meters. The latest personal mark in the top ten was registered by Malaika Mihambo in 2020.
