*Likert scale is a type of rating scale used to measure attitudes or opinions. With this scale, respondents are asked to rate items on a level of agreement.
Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhuvaneshwar, Chennai, Hyderabad, Indore, Jammu, Mumbai, Kochi, Mysuru and New Delhi were the cities under consideration.

In 2018, ** percent of women respondents who earned more than 100 thousand Indian rupees per month preferred to use auto rickshaws across the urban cities in India. Autos are probably preferred as they are fast, cheap, compact and a specific destination can be requested. Surprisingly, only ** percent of the women who earned less than ** thousand rupees per month preferred autos in the country.
