A Polish gamer transformation

            Over the years, Polish gamers have undergone a steady transformation. The gaming industry which was occupied mainly by teenage boys, welcomed a more gender-balanced group. In each age group, smartphone and tablet games were the most appealing products that the industry had to offer. However, mobile gaming did not prove to be enhancing social activity. After all, nearly two-thirds of Polish mobile gamers preferred to always play alone, in a single-player mode.     

What about the Polish console gaming sector?

     Nevertheless, Poles enjoy downloaded games just as much as their mobile counterparts, as shown in the graph. The most favored console among Polish people is undoubtedly PlayStation with its various models. Still, playing console games every day is not a very popular activity, and the devices are usually chosen less frequently, on a few occasions during a week. The only players who opt for playing console games every day are fans of shooter and sports games. Spending wise, investing between 100 and *** zloty on average on a console game purchase was most common in Poland.
