Beer and spirits were the most consumed alcoholic beverages in Trinidad and Tobago in 2016, accounting for ** and ** percent of alcohol consumption in the country. In contrast, wine accounted for three percent of consumption. In that year Trinidad and Tobago was the eight country with the highest annual per capita consumption of alcohol in Latin America and the Caribbean.
