* CoMensha (the National Coordination Centre against Human Trafficking) provides information about the extent and nature of human trafficking in the Netherlands through registration of (potential) victims of trafficking. In addition, CoMensha provides policy advice and training and runs a national helpdesk.

The age of a victim at registration often, but not always, lies close to the age they were when the exploitation began. In some cases the age at registration can be months or years apart from the start of the exploitation.
Of the 128 victims whose age is unknown, 120 are adults.
CoMensha provides an insight into the nature and extent of human trafficking and registers possible victims of human trafficking. The reason the term 'possible' victims is used is that in a chain approach there is no definitive set of criteria that a person must fulfill in order to be a 'real' victim of trafficking.
The figures concern the newly registered possible victims of human trafficking.
