Coarse cereals are a broad sub-group of several short duration warm weather (Kharif) crops such as jowar (sorghum), bajra (pearl millet), maize, ragi (finger millet) among others.
India's financial year begins in April and ends in March. For example, FY 2012 started in April 2011 and ended in March 2012.
