Summertime barbecues are very popular across the U.S. Many respondents say that a summer would be incomplete without barbecuing and not only because of the tender taste of grilled meat: Barbecuing gives them an opportunity to get together with family members and friends.

During summer, about **% of the U.S. respondents barbecue several times a month while **% of them prefer to grill even several times per week. Almost one fifth of U.S. respondents spend more than $100 per month on barbecues during the season with most consumers preferring to purchase meat from the supermarkets instead of purchasing it online or going to a butcher. Gas grills are famous amongst U.S. BBQ enthusiasts with **% of them owning one of these barbecuing devices.
