The gross financial assets of private households across the world grew 9.9 percent in 2013, their highest growth rate in a decade, according to the 2014 Allianz Global Wealth Report. Global financial assets now stand at a record 鈧118 trillion. Swiss households hold the greatest slice of this wealth, with net financial assets per capita of 鈧146,540 when real estate assets are excluded. The United States and Belgium are in second and third place with net per capita financial assets of 鈧119,570 and 鈧78,300 respectively.
