Over the last decade, tropical fruits have become an increasingly important export commodity in Indonesia. Located near the equator, Indonesia is home to a wide range of tropical fruits such as durian, mangosteen, rambutan, and snake fruit. In response to the rising demand for tropical fruits, Indonesia aims to be the biggest tropical fruits producer in Southeast Asia by 2025 and in the world by 2045.
