Newfoundland and Labrador is Canada’s easternmost province, with a population of almost 526,000 people, with the majority of the population being of North American origin, and identifies as Christian. Additionally, the number of immigrants has steadily increased since 2000. Newfoundland and Labrador made up of the region of the island Newfoundland and the mainland region Labrador which borders Quebec. With their capital being St. John’s, it is their largest city and North’ America’s easternmost city located in Newfoundland. With nearly the entire region speaking English, it is one of the smallest provinces in Canada by land size and is home to over 7,000 small islands.
