In the United States, landscaping companies offer a wide range of services that generally comprise of landscape maintenance, lawn care (including chemical application), landscape design and construction, the installation and caring of trees, and irrigation services to both residential and commercial properties. The market size of landscaping services totaled approximately 178 billion U.S. dollars in 2024, with the top three landscaping services companies in the United States all generating an annual revenue of over six billion U.S. dollars in 2024. This represented a significant increase in revenue across the board over the last several years.
As the landscaping services industry in the United States has continued to grow exponentially since 2020, it should be considered as to why this is happening. This service constitutes the bulk of landscaping amenities offered in this industry, which include basic maintenance such as lawn care and mowing. With these services in such high demand, the increased by roughly 13,000 between 2023 and 2024, with also increasing year-on-year since 2013. This could suggest a saturated market for basic landscaping services, implying that leading landscaping companies in North America should diversify their range of services in order to further increase their already significant combined revenue that was generated in 2024.
