Statistics report on global strategic minerals

This report contains an overview of statistics on strategic raw materials as defined by the Deutsche Rohstoffagentur (DERA, or the German Raw Materials Agency in English). Strategically, the minerals cobalt, lithium, tungsten, and tantalum are used by key industries such as the automotive and electronics sectors. Batteries from laptops and smartphones as well as electric cars depend on the availability of these resources.

This report provides information on the global distribution of reserves and production rates of metals of strategic importance according to DERA. Additionally, it highlights developments in commodity prices.
