This report presents graphs and tables about the electricity market in Italy. The first chapter includes the general figures for the electricity industry. Electricity supply and demand figures are presented in the second and third chapters. More specifically, they contain data about the leading providers of electricity and about the size of the market in terms of the number of customers. In both chapters, the figures have been mainly broken down by type of market, since, nowadays, the transition from the regulated to the deregulated market is a relevant topic in Italy. Electricity trade and the price of electricity for different consumer sectors are addressed in the last two chapters.
