Statistics report on the Spanish electric vehicle market

On July 13, 2021, the Spanish government approved the first of the Strategic Projects for Economic Recovery and Transformation (PERTE) in the country, a project dedicated to electric and connected vehicles. Spain has been taking steps towards fleet electrification, but few passenger cars on Spanish roads were granted a Zero emission environmental sticker as of 2022. This report presents statistics and graphs on the status quo in the Spanish electric vehicle market as well as its historical evolution. It further provides data on the best-selling brands, consumer expectations, and the state of the electric vehicle charging infrastructure.
