This statistic depicts the average price increase of brand name drugs widely used by older adults in the U.S. during 2020, by manufacturer. Two such drugs manufactured by Gilead Sciences showed an average increase in retail prices of 6.1 percent. Compared to that, Shire US' eight drugs widely used by seniors on average showed a drop of nearly two percent in retail prices.
