The source indicates the following information regarding the methodology: "Cette étude se fonde sur deux sondages réunissant les réponses de 375 startups candidates au programme d’accélération de NUMA. Un sondage «Startups », constitué de 19 questions sur l’origine et l’environnement du projet, les difficultés et besoins des entrepreneurs. Un sondage «Entrepreneurs », constitué de 21 questions sur les caractéristiques sociologiques des fondateurs de startups (âge, formation…), et la manière dont ils travaillent au quotidien. De cet échantillon initial, nous avons fait le choix de retirer 40 startups étrangères, et 27 startups ayant déjà levé plus de 100 000€, afin de nous concentrer sur le cœur de cible de notre réflexion : les jeunes startups françaises en cours de création, qui n’ont pas, ou pas encore, levé de fonds."
