This graph presents the footfall rate of shopping centers in France during Black Friday sales in 2018, by region. The footfall in French shopping malls decreased in almost all regions. During Black Friday, footfall in shopping centers located in the Northwestern region of France decreased by 13.6 percent. Paris region was the only one where footfall increased. These results may have been a consequence of the yellow vest crisis.
