*The requirements for companies was an annual revenue between five million U.S. Dollars and on billion U.S. Dollars and being located in the Asia-Pacific region. Out of a pool of 19,000 enterprises, around 1,400 fulfilled Forbes' criteria. Finally, two hundred companies which produced the highest sales and earnings per share growth for both the most recent fiscal one- and three-year periods, and the strongest one- and five-year average return on equity had been shortlisted. Forbes did not consider any enterprise that had accounting, management, or ongoing serious legal issues.
