The number of South American tourists visiting Curaçao increased by 37 percent in 2021 compared to the previous year. In total, there were 20,226 visitors from South America traveling to Curaçao that year. Despite the improvement in inbound traveler numbers, the Caribbean island did not reach pre-pandemic levels of South American tourists that year.
