The survey outcomes indicate that retailers considered mobile payment methods and self-scan registers to be the most indispensible technologies for physical retail outlets. As of 2018, over ** percent of retailers in Belgium had implemented or planned to use mobile payment methods in their stores, while one quarter of the respondents were not using or planning to implement any of the technologies listed.
