In 2024, the private final consumption expenditure (FCE) on food and non-alcoholic beverages in Malaysia was estimated to amount to 16.1 percent in relation to the gross domestic product (GDP). The expenditure on such items as a share of Malaysia's GDP slightly decreased compared to the previous year.
