Supplementary notes
The unit is tons of new rubber defined by the source as the amount of natural and synthetic rubber (excluding regenerated rubber) contained in the survey product, not the amount of the final product.
Rubber beltings include conveyor and elevator beltings, and synchronous belts.
Companies surveyed were business establishments with 5 or more regular employees.
The source defines production volume as the quantity of products actually produced (including produced as a consignee) by the establishment that is the object of the survey (hereafter, 'the survey object'). However, products in process shall be excluded. Besides, production includes products as process goods or for consumption for other products in the survey object.
Figures have been rounded.
