The volume of solar photovoltaic panels collected as part of the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment directive in the United Kingdom totaled 135.5 metric tons in the first quarter of 2024. Figures reached a record high in the fourth quarter of the previous year, with nearly 163 metric tons of solar photovoltaic panels e-waste collected.
