A decade earlier, in 2012, the share stood at about 52.10 percent. "PG-13" means that the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA) deemed the films to contain some material that may be inappropriate for children under 13. "Barbie" and "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3" were among the most-viewed PG-13 movies in the U.S. and Canada in 2023.
