This statistic illustrates loans by monetary financial institutions (MFIs) to large real estate businesses in the United Kingdom (UK) from July 2016 to July 2019. In this graph the real estate industry has been categorized into two segments, the first being into buying, selling and renting of own or leased real estate. The second category is real estate and related activities on a fee or contract basis. It can be seen that the total value of loans by MFIs to large business real estate companies fluctuated overall during the period under observation, reaching a value of over 1.97 billion British pounds as of July 2019. The month with the highest amount of lending to large business real estate companies was May 2018 with a total of over 4.4 billion British pounds.
