The fast-food industry's annual pre-tax revenue grew significantly in France between 2011 and 2016. In the space of six years, the figures increased by almost seven billion euros. The turnover excluding tax in the French fast-food sector rose from 12 billion euros in 2011 to 19 billion euros in 2016. Furthermore, 2014 was the best performing year for the fast-food service industry over that period, with a progression of four billion euros.
