This timeline shows the the end-of-period outstanding amount of debt securities issued by insurance companies in Italy from January 2017 to May 2022. During the period from under consideration the amount of debt securities fluctuated between around 13.7 and 16.7 billion euros. The peak of 16.7 billion euros was reached in February 2019, after which the outstanding debt trended down, reaching 15.1 billion euros in May 2022.
